This 4-hour workshop is a hands-on introduction to the basics of data, analysis, reporting, and visualizations. This workshop will be an excellent learning opportunity for workforce development professionals who want to gain a better understanding of how to work with data analysts and how to better tell their organization’s story of success. The workshop will cover topics such as: ethics, privacy and data security; responsibilities of analysts in the organization; common types of data and visualizations; data analysis - studies, types, and challenges; and workflow, common tools, and resources

Here is what prior attendees said about this workshop:
“Very interesting topic. Relatability of information and how it provokes thought about what we are doing now and how we are planning for the future.”
“Very good and useful as we think of new certificates to offer as well as how we offer them.”
“The eye-opening fact that we need to rethink how we think about Higher Ed.”

Derrick Edwards, President and Chief Technology Officer
