MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Institutional Membership
Institutional membership is open to public community, junior, and technical colleges and similar postsecondary institutions which offer an associate degree and are accredited by a regional accrediting association recognized by the Council for Higher
Education Accreditation (CHEA); to the colleges and campuses of multi-college and multi-campus institutions eligible for institutional membership; and to state administrative offices of state systems of community, technical, and junior colleges. Institutions
outside the United States will be considered eligible if they are accredited by their state or national government.
Institution 1
: one identified member.
Institution 3
: three identified members. Each member may register for the Annual Conference at the member's rate.
Institution 5
: five identified members. An unlimited number of college employees may register for the Annual Conference at the member's rate.
Non-Profit Membership Any non-profit organization interested in the work of the National Council for Workforce Education, who is involved in workforce education and economic development and supportive of postsecondary occupational education or related areas.
Non-Profit 1: one identified member of the agency.
Non-Profit 3
: three identified members. Each member may register for the Annual Conference at the member's rate.
Non-Profit 5
: five identified members. An unlimited number of agency employees may register for the Annual Conference at the member's rate.
Individual Member Any persons interested in the work of National Council for Workforce Education, who are involved in workforce and economic development, and supportive of postsecondary occupational education or related areas.
Organization Any foundation, corporation, or other organization (including four year colleges, for-profit and not-for-profit colleges) who wishes to support the objective of the Council may become partner associate members.
Student A masters or doctoral student not employed by a public community, junior, and technical colleges or similar postsecondary institutions which offers an associate degree and are accredited by a regional accrediting association recognized by
the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
MEMBERSHIP TERMS
Memberships expire each year on July 1.
