Nick Kremer is currently an educational consultant serving as co-chair of the Los Angeles/Orange County Community College Consortium, a collaboration of 27 colleges focused on workforce development. He is working on strategic planning issues and integration with WIOA. He also chairs the Vocational Research and Accountability Committee which is a field based advisory committee to the California Community Colleges.
In June of 2011 he retired after working in California colleges for over 25 years as a faculty member, dean and finally as executive dean overseeing workforce programs at Cerritos College for 11 years. He has experience in program development, grant administration, strategic planning, credit workforce education, apprenticeship, and adult/non-credit education. He has served on the boards of workforce and economic development groups as well as chambers of commerce.
Recent consulting activity has included working with colleges in South Texas and New Mexico. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a master’s from Claremont Graduate University.
