Mimi Maduro currently serves as a consultant specializing in designing stackable credentials and career pathways, and providing technical assistance to community colleges and organizations on increasing on certificate and credential attainment. She retired from the Oregon community college system in 2015 after serving close to ten years as Oregon’s Pathways Statewide Director. Prior to her statewide role she served as Workforce Development Director at Portland Community College and various training and leadership positions for more than two decades. She served in a leadership role in the development and implementation of Oregon’s statewide TAACCCT grant from 2011-2014, and the Center for Law & Social Policy (CLASP) Alliance for Quality Career Pathways from 2012-2015.
Mimi is passionate about collaboration, facilitation, peer learning, systems thinking, and leadership development. Certified as a professional coach by New Ventures West in 2012, she coaches individuals interested in expanding their leadership capacity or delving into career transition. Mimi has a master’s degree in management and organizational development. Her master’s thesis focused on collaboration and industry-education partnerships.
