In June 2016, the U.S. Department of Education announced the 67 community colleges and universities across the United States that had been named as experimental sites to award Pell grants to incarcerated students. MEMBERS RESOURCES: TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND CONSULTING SERVICES
Over the past ten years, The National Council for Workforce Education has developed partnerships with other nonprofit organizations to support workforce development initiatives across the country. These partnerships create opportunities for members to participate in national initiatives; develop peer learning opportunities for members; attract new members; and ensure financial viability of the Council.

Through Technical Assistance and Consulting Services, NCWE can assist colleges and their partners with a wide array of services designed to maximize the effectiveness of education and workforce training programs and implement innovative designs that lead to improved outcomes and learner success.
