As the Vice President of Industry Development and Diversity, Katerina works closely with top marketing and creative services executives across all the major broadcast and cable networks and the creative agencies who serve them to design and execute an integrated program of education, training, search, and talent development. The mandate of her position is to build a stronger more inclusive industry and foster a sustainable pipeline of talent for and through the entertainment marketing industry. In her position, Katerina leads the PromaxBDA Diversity Council, an industry wide collaborative of ten networks including ABC Disney, CBS, NBC, Comcast Entertainment Group, Turner, Viacom, A+E Networks, AMC Networks, Warner Bros., and FOX.
Katerina brings with her 15 years experience working in international education development where she consulted with a broad range of private and civil sector organizations throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, South Africa, New Zealand, and Ireland to build equitable and sustainable education programs for under-represented communities across a range of industries. She offers a unique interdisciplinary perspective to industry development that fuses knowledge of organizational effectiveness and marketing with an expertise in education and diversity programming.
Katerina holds an MA in Social Anthropology from York University in Toronto, Canada and an MBA from Tulane University.
