Description:
Hennepin Technical College (HTC) invites applications for the position of Vice President of Workforce Education. This position provides the vision and leadership in the planning, development, implementation and support of Hennepin Technical College's Customized Training Services and Continuing Education division to address the needs of local, regional, and state business and industry needs. Major responsibilities include creating an effective environment to support innovation, collaboration and revenue generation. This position reports to the President.

Hennepin Technical College is the largest stand-alone student-centered two-year technical college serving over 20,000 individuals in both credit and non-credit courses. HTC's mission is to provide excellence in career and technical education for employment and advancement in an ever-changing global environment. Campuses located in the suburban Minneapolis communities of Brooklyn Park and Eden Prairie provides students educational options in more than 50 career and technical programs. HTC has the largest customized training division in the state of Minnesota. HTC employs over 800 full and part-time staff and has an annual budget of approximately $70 million.

Description:
Under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Workforce Development & Community Education, develops, implements, and evaluates workforce development programs and services that support job seekers, students, business, and other specialized populations. The Director will provide direction and oversight for various workforce development grant funded programs in close partnership with the Department of Human Services, the local Workforce Investment Board, WorkSource Oregon, and other agencies, while providing facilities management for PCC's Portland Metropolitan Workforce Training Center.
