Position Title: Senior Program Manager - Employer Engagement

The Senior Program Manager (SPM), based in JFF’s Oakland, CA office, will have responsibility for both program-specific as well as cross-cluster deliverables and will ensure the efficient implementation of programmatic initiatives through budget oversight and strategic support to help advance JFF’s goals/mission.

Working under the supervision of the Director for Work Based Learning Systems, the SPM will work with employers to design and support talent development strategies in partnership with education, workforce, and community partners, such as career pathway approaches for youth and adults and sector partnerships that include multiple employers from target sectors. The SPM will provide technical assistance to education, workforce, and community partners on effective strategies for engaging employers, building their capacity to develop and maintain these partnerships. They will oversee and conduct primary and secondary research, analyze program and policy issues and develop and deliver presentations and products to clients, stakeholders, practitioners and potential funders. S/he will also work with a team to design and facilitate peer learning communities of regional networks of industry, workforce, college, school districts, and community partners on strategies to harness buy-in and expertise of employers in better preparing and retaining highly skilled workers.

Position Title: Business & Logistics Professor

Tacoma Community College (TCC) invites applications for an exciting opportunity as a tenure track Business & Logistics Professor. This position is responsible to prepare and deliver business and logistics courses to students pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Business degree in the concentration areas of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management or Global Logistics. Works cooperatively with community partners and other faculty to ensure that students receive education and training that gives them current and marketable employment skills.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field from an accredited college or university; and Two (2) years of relevant work experience and/or relevant current teaching experience that particularly qualify the faculty to provide instruction in Business, Logistics, and Entrepreneurship.
